Adam Michener joined the DELTA |v| team in 2018 with more than 17 years of engineering experience, including serving as the principal engineer on more than 400 accident reconstruction cases. He is excited to contribute to the growth of the DELTA |v| Denver office. With his natural leadership ability, sound reconstruction work, and experience testifying as an expert, there is no doubt that this will be the case.

A typical day for Adam entails scene survey and investigation, car and truck downloads, and/or accident reconstruction. His experience in mechanical design, computer modeling and simulation, failure analysis, photogrammetry, and electronic data download and analysis will prove useful in his role at DELTA |v|.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a Mechanical Specialty from the Colorado School of Mines, as well as a master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. He also holds certifications in the following:

  • Accredited Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR)
  • Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) System Analyst

Outside of the office, Adam enjoys ice hockey and spending time with his twin daughters.

John Scott, Senior Engineer, joined DELTA |v| in 2018 with more than 23 years of experience. He admires how DELTA |v| invests in the newest resources and technologies to help its professionals do their best work. His vast experience and can-do attitude make him a great fit at DELTA |v|.

After he received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a Mechanical Specialty from the Colorado School of Mines, John has used his academic and practical knowledge to investigate and reconstruct over 850 vehicular accidents in the U.S. and South America and testify as an expert in numerous cases.

John is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and has accumulated more than 2,000 hours of specialized training in:

  • Accident investigation and reconstruction
  • Event data recorders
  • Commercial vehicle inspection
  • Brake systems (Qualified Brake Inspector)
  • Motorcycles
  • Vehicle dynamics
  • Simulations
  • Laser scanners
  • Numerous software applications

He is proficient in traditional and computer-aided accident reconstruction methods and is qualified to collect and analyze crash data from passenger and commercial vehicles as well as infotainment and telematics systems.

John’s reconstruction work is enhanced by his knowledge in vehicle maintenance and repair (including concrete mixers and heavy equipment), product design and manufacturing, residential construction, and commercial building maintenance.

When he’s not at an incident site, John loves getting outdoors, raising his small flock of backyard chickens, gardening, or doing CNC routing in his shop. He is also a family man and enjoys spending quality time with them and coaching his daughters’ softball teams.

Emily Clark began her career at DELTA |v| in 2021 as an Associate Engineer. A hardworking individual with an insatiable curiosity for learning new things, Emily graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and continued on to earn a STEM MBA from the University of Georgia.

Emily assists DELTA |v|’s lead engineers with field data recovery and data analysis. She is looking forward to having the opportunity to further expand her engineering knowledge and grow as a professional through hands-on experience and mentoring.

In addition to the dynamic and challenging workload, she is looking forward to being part of a team of experienced industry professionals. In her own words, “I wanted to start a career working with a team of passionate, hardworking, intelligent people that will continue to encourage my growth as an engineer. DELTA |v| checks all those boxes and more.”

Outside of work, Emily loves to spend her free time riding and showing her horse, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends. While earning her degree she rode for the University of Georgia’s D1 Equestrian team. During the spring of 2021, her team won the National Championship title.

Mary Reddy joined DELTA |v| as a Client Engagement Associate in November 2018.

In her role, Mary is the first line of defense between clients and our engineers. She handles everything from project intake to engineer deployment. Her goal is to ensure that all elements of each project are on track and flowing smoothly.

Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (GO BLUE!). Taking a role with DELTA |v| gives her the chance to marry her engineering degree with her project management and customer service experience. It’s the best of both worlds!

Outside of work, you’ll find Mary leading an incredibly active lifestyle from playing a variety of sports to hiking and running. She cares for her children and enjoys the mountains, coaching, crafting, and attending sporting events in support of her kids and professional/college games.
