Brendan McLaughlin, BS, PE
Brendan McLaughlin, Professional Engineer, began at DELTA |v| in 2016. He was searching for the opportunity to put his education in mechanical engineering and failure analysis to work and he found the right place. A typical day for Brendan could include meticulously analyzing crash reconstructions, jumping in the car to go to an incident site, or thoroughly reviewing files. Senior engineers and clients constantly rely on Brendan and his sharp skills to handily figure out the solution to their motor vehicle matters. He particularly enjoys fieldwork, crash analyses, and determining human perception times.
Brendan is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Material Science and an ACTAR accreditation. He showcased his ability to improve processes during his senior design project where he was tasked with improving the production line process at a boat trailer fender manufacturer. He constantly applies those efficiency-improving critical thinking skills to his work at DELTA |v|.
Brendan feels most motivated when he is active, so he enjoys going on regular hikes and playing basketball.
