Jay Shridharani, Associate Engineer, joined DELTA |v| in 2017 after earning his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Jay also holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Jay’s doctoral research focused on investigating the injury mechanisms in the spine from naval high speed craft and underbody blast exposure. He has also extensively researched traumatic brain injury (TBI) from primary blast and ballistic impacts. His education and research experience allow him to offer a unique perspective to DELTA |v| clients in their accident reconstruction matters.

A typical day of work for Jay may involve field work, including data collection, truck downloads, and investigations. He is also entrenched in vehicle accident reconstruction.

With family in Charlotte, Jay has settled into his new city well. Jay enjoys spending quality time with his fiancé, friends, and family. You may also find him enjoying the outdoors, cooking Mexican food, or installing smart home features throughout his house.
